Hi Everyone,
My name is Ahilim but my friends call me LIM. I'm new to this site and so excited and lucky to be part of the Magnolia Stamp Lovers designer team. As you can imagine I love Magnolia stamps and try to collect them all as much as I can. Today is my first post and the challenge this week is to make a card using just sentiment stamps from Magnolia. No Tilda's or Edwin's, just sentiment stamps. I must confess that I had a hard time because I never made a card with just a sentiment before, but at the end I liked the final result. I used the sentiment "God Jul" from Christmas-2008 collection. I added some "crackle accent" to the letters to give them more dimension. Below is the list with all the materials that I used.

Stamp: "God Jul" from Magnolia Christmas Collection 2008
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black and Distress inks. ( I mixed a little bit of "Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain and Antique linen)
Papers: My Mind's Eye ( Lost & Found- Union Square Collection)
Tools: Spellbinders Nestabilities- Lacey Circles. Doohickey's Cutting Dies (Wedding Collecting Tilda Lace, Peony Petals and Spruce)
Embellishments: Crackle Accent, eyelets, brads and gold pearls. Liquid applique and platinum stickle.
Hope this inspires you to create your own sentiment card. Happy Stamping!
Hugs,
LIM :)

I just saw in the sidebar what you did gone througt with your little angel. I am sure she is always with you everywhere.
When our son was four years old he became leukemia, so I know what a difficult time it is when your child is so sick. We were lucky, he is now 29, but the experience of that time was very difficult. Using your creativity is the best medicine you can take. I hope to see much more work from you.
Greetings Henny.
